Coming soon to the App StoreClosing the summer cottage for the winter: four people, one afternoon, twenty jobs. Was the pump lifted out of the lake? Who emptied the water heater? With OurCheckList everyone ticks the same list on their own phone, and the answer is right there — today, and next autumn when you wonder how it went last year.
Saturday 17 October 2026
Every tick and untick is kept with the person’s name and the time from Apple’s servers, not the phone’s clock. Unticking doesn’t erase anything: the history shows the whole afternoon, in order.
Two links. People with the helper link can only tick; they can’t rename or remove items, even by accident. Give the editor link to the few who should change the list. Apple’s servers enforce the difference.
Write the jobs once as a template, and each autumn, spring or week create a dated list from it — “Closing the cottage 2026”, “Weekly clean, week 45”. Old rounds stay as they were, so you can look back at who did what last time.
Get a notification when someone ticks an item on a list you share — follow the work from the other end of the lake, or from the city. Ticks you make yourself stay quiet.
No coverage at the cottage? Tick away. Everything syncs to the others when your phone is back online.
Export a list with who ticked each item and when, ready for Excel or Numbers — for the housing society, the boat club or the landlord. Import existing lists from Notes, e-mail or CSV.
To-do apps are made for your own tasks: everyone you share with can change everything, and once something is unticked, what happened is gone. OurCheckList is made for a job that several people do together and that comes round again — closing the cottage, launching the boat, the club sauna’s turn, opening the shop in the morning — where afterwards you want to know, not guess.
There is no account to create and no Juvex server. Your lists are stored in your own iCloud and shared with Apple’s iCloud sharing only with the people you send a link to; Apple’s servers enforce who may tick and who may edit. Juvex can’t see your lists. See the privacy policy.
Everyone needs an Apple device and an iCloud account. More help on the support page.
OurCheckList is free with one template and up to 20 items in it and in each list you create. OurCheckList Unlimited, a one-time in-app purchase of 1,99 €, removes both limits on your iPhone, iPad and Mac, and is shared with your family through Family Sharing. No subscription. Lists that others share with you are never limited, so the people helping you don’t need to buy anything.
