Mosaic-NVR License

Copyright (c) 2026 Juvex Oy. All rights reserved.

Mosaic-NVR (the "Software") is licensed, not sold. By installing or using it
you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Software.

1. Free personal use

   You may install and use the Software free of charge for personal,
   non-commercial use, such as watching your own home, cabin or property,
   provided that it records or shows no more than three (3) cameras in
   total.

2. Use that requires a paid license

   Any other use requires a separate, paid license purchased from Juvex Oy.
   This includes:

   a) use with more than three (3) cameras;
   b) commercial use: use by or for a business, an association, a public
      body or any other organisation, or use in connection with any paid
      activity;
   c) installing, operating or supporting the Software for others for a
      fee, or including it in a product or service that is sold or rented.

   To purchase a license, contact Juvex Oy at contact@juvex.fi.

3. Restrictions

   You may not:

   a) sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software;
   b) distribute the Software, or a modified copy of it, to others, except
      for an unmodified copy of a release published by the copyright holder,
      handed on free of charge with this license;
   c) remove or change the copyright notice, this license or the
      third-party notices;
   d) decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Software, except to
      the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this
      restriction.

4. Third-party software

   The Software includes third-party software under its own licenses. Those
   licenses, not this one, govern that software. Their notices come with
   the Software: its web page serves them at /third-party-notices.txt,
   linked under Settings -> System.

5. Your responsibility

   Recording video and sound can be regulated by law, for example by
   data-protection and privacy laws. You are responsible for using the
   Software lawfully, for informing the people being recorded where the
   law requires it, and for keeping the recordings secure. The Software can
   fail to record; do not rely on it as the only means of protecting
   people or property.

6. No warranty

   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
   OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
   MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
   THE SOFTWARE IS UNDER TESTING AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS.

7. Limitation of liability

   TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER
   SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSS OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST
   OR MISSING RECORDINGS, LOSS OF DATA, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT,
   OR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING FROM
   THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE
   POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Nothing in this license limits liability
   that cannot be limited under applicable law, or rights that consumers
   have under mandatory law.

8. Termination

   This license ends automatically if you break its terms. You must then
   stop using the Software and delete your copies of it.

9. Changes

   Later versions of the Software may come with different license terms.
   The terms that came with a version apply to that version.

10. Governing law

   This license is governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to its
   conflict-of-law rules.
